The wide opening on this straight tube bong has a very comfortable feel to it, and also allows for easy ice loading. There is a base on the bottom making the water pipe on this glass bong super sturdy. The height on this straight shot lets you milk your bowl and fill up the chamber with smoke. The glass bong has a water pipe that houses a standard 14 mm bowl fitting and has an American diffused downstem (slits on the bottom). The diffused downstem forces the smoke to break up in the water, that way more surface area of the smoke touches water. This cools down the smoke, with the filtration system getting out some of the bad stuff, and making it easier on your lungs. Very nice bong, thick glass, tall enough to stack smoke nicely, and of course made in the USA at an affordable price that you're probably not going to find anywhere else. Unfortunately, mine came with a bowl piece that was not the one pictured, and had some chips in it. Not a big deal for me since I have other bowls i can use. The downstem is just the basic 6 slit downstem you get with most other bongs. Overall very satisfied.
